The Linen Room Attendant / Houseperson plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of housekeeping services by managing all daily linen processing and inventory control.  Based at an exclusive slopeside property in the Blackcomb Benchlands of Whistler, BC, this position offers you ski-in-ski-out benefits and slopeside parking paired with a flexible schedule so you can enjoy a few runs before starting your shifts! Starting wage of $25/hour plus benefits – no prior experience required.

**TRY BEFORE YOU APPLY – Trial shifts are available starting right away! **

ABOUT THE ROLE:
> Full Time and Part-time, year-round or seasonal.
> Starting wage $25 per hour with no prior experience required.
> Schedule is very flexible – usually 6-8 hours a day with a flexible start time.
> Training will be provided to a candidate interested in learning this role.
> Staff accommodations may be available in a shared room.
> Comprehensive compensation package.

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE:
> Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry services, or inventory control is an asset but not required.
> Highly organized, with the ability to track and manage inventory efficiently.
> Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
> Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and orderliness.
> Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and move linens and supplies as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
This role supports the housekeeping team by maintaining a steady supply of fresh linens, tracking inventory levels, and ensuring that essential supplies are well-stocked and organized. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a hands-on environment.

Linen Processing & Housekeeping Support
> Prepare all linen for each Housekeeping team.
> Maintain proper linen rotation, ensuring clean linens are available at all times.
> Coordinate with external linen suppliers and laundry services to track deliveries and returns.
> Inspect linens for damage or stains, ensuring only high-quality items are used in guest units.
> Delivering linen to Housekeeping Teams at properties we manage as needed.
> Assist housekeepers by replenishing linens, towels, and guest amenities as needed.
> Ensure used linens are properly sorted and stored before pick-up or washing.

Inventory Control & Stock Management
> Monitor and track inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities, ensuring accurate stock levels.
> Maintain organized storage areas, following company procedures for inventory control.
> Conduct regular inventory checks and report low stock levels to the Property Services Manager.
