We’re now hiring an Corporate Event Lead specializing in audio, video, and sound operations for a high-profile corporate event from August 6–17. POSITION: Event Lead
> DATES: August 6th to 17th 2026 *must be available for the entire period!
> HOURS: Shifts are 8-12 hours long each day, with a variety of start times eg. 8am, 12pm or 5pm
> LOCATION: The Whistler Conference Centre – 4010 Whistler Way, Whistler, BC
> DUTIES: : Oversees the on-site crew and helps coordinate the setup, execution, and teardown of event operations. Acts as the main point of contact for workflow, problem-solving, and ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
> QUALIFICATIONS: Requires at least 5 years of related experience including hands-on knowledge of audio, video & lighting installations + steel-toed boots.

PERKS:
> Work all 10 shifts over 12 days and earn an additional $2/hr Superhero Bonus on all hours worked.
> Many shifts offer OVERTIME PAY at 1.5x your regular wage.
> Transportation/Parking Per Day: +$13 per shift
> This is an opportunity to earn between $5,500 and $6,000 across the 10-day event.

WAGES: Whistler Personnel uses a progressive pay system that awards pay increases based on the number of Successful Shifts completed. The more you work with us, the more you get paid per hour!
> $50/hr TIER1 Base Wage
> $52/hr TIER2 after 10 shifts (Base + $2/hr Bonus)
> $54/hr TIER3 after 20 shifts (Base + $4/hr Bonus)
