THE PERFECT CANDIDATE:
> 3-5 years experience is preferred – more experience translates to high wages.
> Red Seal Certification in Carpentry is very beneficial but not required.
> Situational Leadership skills are an asset.
> Tactical problem-solving and strong communication skills are key for a Lead Carpenter position.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
> Hands-on carpentry on the job site plus assist and direct junior workers and ensure project stays on target.
> Job sites include lots of renovations, framing, forming rough-ins, multi-dwelling-unit projects in Whistler primarily.
> Opportunities for remote work are available.
> Act as a primary point of contact between the Site crew and the Site Supervisor to ensure goals are aligned.
> Reinforce strict safety protocols on-site, ensuring the crew operates tools and equipment correctly and maintains a clean workspace.
> Interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications, converting them into clear, actionable instructions for the team.
