Work a Major Event in Whistler This August! We’re hiring for lots of different roles including; AV Technicians, Event Leads, Stage Hands, and Fork Lift Operators for a high-profile corporate event from August 6–17. Earn over $5,000 over the course of the event including vacation pay, plus overtime and bonus opportunities. Don’t miss the chance to work behind the scenes and help deliver a world-class event!

PROGRESSIVE WAGES plus 4% Vacation Pay, possible Overtime Pay & Bonuses!
> The more successful shifts you work with us, the more you get paid per hour!
> Your first shifts will be used to determine and confirm your experience & skill levels.
> Successful Shifts = be on time, work hard and make our clients happy.

PLUS PERKS & ADDED INCENTIVES:

  • Work 8 + shifts and earn an additional $2/hr Superhero Bonus on all hours worked.
  • Many shifts offer OVERTIME PAY at 1.5x your regular rate.
  • Transportation/Parking Per Day: +$13 per shift
  • This is an opportunity to earn over $5,000 across the 10-day event.

POSITION: Event Lead
> DATES: August 6th to 17th 2026 at the Whistler Conference Centre *must be available for the entire period!
> HOURS: Shifts are 8-12 hours long each day, with a variety of start times eg. 8am, 12pm or 5pm
> DUTIES: Oversees the on-site crew and helps coordinate the setup, execution, and teardown of event operations. Acts as the main point of contact for workflow, problem-solving, and ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
> SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Requires past experience with audio, video and lighting installations plus least 5 years of related experience. Strong communication and organizational skills. Must be confident leading a team and managing logistics in a fast-paced, public-facing environment. Professional, proactive, and calm under pressure.

PROGRESSIVE WAGES: Event Lead
> $50hr TIER1 Base Wage
> $52/hr TIER2 after 10 successful shifts
> $54/hr TIER3 after 20 successful shifts

PLUS PERKS & ADDED INCENTIVES:
> Work 8 + shifts and earn an additional $2/hr Superhero Bonus on all hours worked.
> Many shifts offer OVERTIME PAY at 1.5x your regular rate.
> Transportation/Parking Allowance Per Day: $13 per shift
> Overtime, 4% Vacation Pay and Bonuses paid out weekly on each cheque
> Work all 10 shifts and earn between $5,500 and $6,000


POSITION: Video Assistant / LED Techs x 10 positions available
> DATES: August 6th to 17th 2026 at the Whistler Conference Center
> TIMES: Various shift options with 8am and 5pm start times and LOTS of opportunity for overtime (8-12hr shifts)
> DUTIES: Assists with the setup, testing, operation and strike of video equipment, including LED panels, displays, and related cabling. Helps troubleshoot technical issues, monitors equipment during the event, and ensures visuals run smoothly.
> SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Requires 1+ years of related experience + steel-toed boots.

POSITION: Lighting Tech Assistants x 14 positions available
> DATES: August 6th to 17th 2026 at the Whistler Conference Center & Whistler Roundhouse Lodge
> TIMES: Various shift options with 8am and 5pm start times and LOTS of opportunity for overtime (8-12hr shifts)
> DUTIES: Helps install, focus, test, and strike lighting equipment according to the event plan. Supports the lighting crew by running cables, organizing gear, and assisting with on-site adjustments during production.
> SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Requires 1+ years of related experience + steel-toed boots

POSITION: Audio Tech Assistants x 7 positions available
> DATES: August 6th to 17th 2026 at the Whistler Conference Center and Whistler Roundhouse Lodge
> TIMES: Various shift options with 8am and 5pm start times and LOTS of opportunity for overtime (8-12hr shifts)
> DUTIES: Supports the audio team by setting up and striking microphones, speakers, mixers, cabling, and other sound equipment. Helps during live operation by monitoring levels, assisting with adjustments, and resolving basic technical issues.
> SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Requires 1+ years of related experience + steel-toed boots.

PROGRESSIVE WAGES: Video, Lighting and Audio Tech Assistants:

EXPERIENCED TECHS (3+ years experience)
> $46/hr TIER1 Base Wage
> $48/hr TIER2 after 10 successful shifts
> $50/hr TIER3 after 20 successful shifts

JUNIOR TECHS (1-2 years experience)
> $40/hr TIER1 Base Wage
> $42/hr TIER2 after 10 successful shifts
> $44/hr TIER3 after 20 successful shifts

> DATES: August 6th to 17th 2026 at the Whistler Conference Centre
> TIMES: Various shift options with 8am and 5pm start times and LOTS of opportunity for overtime (8-12hr shifts)
> DUTIES: Safely operates a forklift to move, load, unload, and stage equipment, materials, or freight as needed for event setup and strike. Checks loads for stability, follows safety procedures, and supports the team with efficient material handling.
> SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Requires at least 2 years of related experience.

PROGRESSIVE WAGES: Fork Lift Operators
> $46hr TIER1 Base Wage
> $48/hr TIER2 after 10 successful shifts
> $50/hr TIER3 after 20 successful shifts

POSITION: Experienced Stage Hands x 12 positions available
> DATES: August 6th to 17th 2026 at the Whistler Conference Center
> TIMES: Various shift options with 8am and 5pm start times and LOTS of opportunity for overtime (8-12hr shifts)
> DUTIES: Perform general labor for event setup and teardown, including moving equipment, assembling staging, and preparing the venue. Work under direction to support production teams and keep the event running safely and on schedule
> SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Related event installation experience and steel-toed boots are required.

PROGRESSIVE WAGES: Experienced Stage Hands
> $26hr TIER1 Base Wage
> $28/hr TIER2 after 10 successful shifts
> $30/hr TIER3 after 20 successful shifts
