What You Bring to the Table
- 2+ years of kitchen experience preferred — flexibility for the right candidate
- Skilled in grilling, frying, and line cooking in a fast-paced environment
- Thrives under pressure, maintaining speed and accuracy during busy service
- Solid knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices
- Food Safe certification is a strong asset
- Team-focused with a genuine passion for food and hospitality
Your Days Will Look Like
- Prepare fresh ingredients daily, ensuring accuracy, speed, and consistency during prep and service.
- Cook dishes to order with care and precision, maintaining Black's quality and presentation standards.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized, following all food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels, communicating with the team to ensure the kitchen is always well-stocked.
- Collaborate with the kitchen crew, communicating clearly and supporting each other through busy service.
- Plate meals with attention to detail, ensuring each dish looks great and hits the pass on time.
- Adapt to guest requests, accommodating dietary needs or special orders with professionalism.
- Contribute to a positive kitchen culture, bringing energy, efficiency, and a strong work ethic every shift.
