The Opportunity
We’re hiring an Assistant General Manager to join our team at Black’s Pub, one of Whistler’s most iconic destinations for lively après, fresh local flavours, and unbeatable views.

What You Bring to the Table
- Hospitality/Marketing/Sales background (events management experience highly regarded)
- Guest experience focused and maintaining community connections
- Administration and computer skills (Microsoft products, POS, employee timekeeping programs)
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Strong communication skills and ability to react calmly to challenging and stressful situations
- SIR
- First Aid (or ability to acquire)
Your Days Will Look Like
- Lead by example with full sales and product knowledge, inspiring your team to upsell and enhance the guest experience.
- Schedule, train, and develop team members, providing coaching and support to help them succeed.
- Recruit top talent and foster a positive, high-performance workplace culture.
- Participate in regular operations meetings, contributing insights on profit, revenue, labour, and employee engagement.
- Oversee daily inventory to ensure the business is fully prepared for each shift.
- Maintain strict liquor license compliance and uphold all legal and safety standards.
- Champion internal feedback programs and create opportunities for team recognition.
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives and events that drive guest engagement and sales.
- Uphold and promote the company’s Core Values in all aspects of operations.
