The Marketing & Guest Activation Manager?is responsible for?driving guest awareness, attendance, and engagement across the Gibbons ecosystem by executing and supporting marketing initiatives tied to programming, experiences, and events.?
This role focuses on?bringing?the business strategies?to life, ensuring campaigns, assets, and communications are delivered accurately, consistently, and on time. This role sits at the intersection of brand, revenue, and operations. The position bridges planning and on-the-ground execution, supporting activation, retention, and guest flow through digital marketing, in- venue promotional assets, partnerships, and storytelling that reflects?what’s?happening?in?Gibbons?venues. ?

We’re looking for a marketing professional with experience in winter sports, festivals, events, or music marketing. You know how to connect with active, culture-driven audiences and bring our brands to life in experiential environments.
You might be a great fit if you:
Have hands-on experience in winter sports, festival, event, or music marketing
Understand the Whistler or resort-town audience and lifestyle
- Have successfully managed and led teams of 6–8 people
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments
- Are both strategic (big-picture thinking) and hands-on (execution-focused)
- Build strong relationships with partners, sponsors, and community stakeholders
Your Days Will Look Like
- Bringing programming, events, and promotions to life through clear, engaging guest-facing marketing
- Supporting year-round activation across venues, festivals, and experiences
- Coordinating and rolling out in-venue marketing (signage, menus, posters, displays, collateral)
- Ensuring all marketing assets are on-brand, accurate, visible, and delivered on time
- Supporting guest engagement and retention through campaigns, storytelling, and local partnerships
- Executing marketing across social, email, SMS, web, and in-venue channels
- Assisting with marketing for major events such as Crankworx, WSSF, and Whistler Village Beer Festival
- Working closely with venue teams to align marketing with priorities, capacity, and guest flow
- Supporting reporting, tracking, and continuous improvement of campaigns
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Programming, Partnerships, and Creative teams
- Helping strengthen Gibbons’ presence and connections within the Whistler community
Wage and Perks of the Job
- $70,000 - $90,000 based on experience
