Description
WE go BIG! Leadership Training (Online)
Register now! The course will be available until August 31, 2027.
(Recommended for leaders, managers, and supervisors)
We create Belonging. We Initiate with purpose. We Go Beyond every day. That’s the Whistler Experience.
WE go BIG! Supervisor Training gives Whistler's leaders the practical tools to support their teams, address issues early, and stay steady when the pressure is on, in a way only an in-person experience can.
The course:
Training begins with a review of the tools your frontline teams have already learned: the Circle of Influence, the BIG model (Belong, Initiate, Go Beyond), and the Wellbeing Toolkit. From there, participants build confidence in managing performance using clear, factual feedback with the SBI framework, and learn to de-escalate tense moments with staff or guests using the CALM approach, through real on-shift scenarios and peer conversations.
Once complete, you'll know how to address performance issues early without blame or avoidance, set clear expectations, stay calm and in control during conflict, and reinforce BIG behaviours with your team all season long.
This training is perfect for:
- Leaders, managers, and supervisors
