In this workshop, you’ll discover how to create good videos for Reels, Stories, and the feed. You will also learn how to repurpose your content on various platforms including YouTube and your blog for maximum exposure!
Thursday, June 8, join successful social media coach & marketer Catherine Aird to gain clarity on the type of video content to create as she shares tools needed to create and repurpose quality videos for social media.
Participants will walk out with a good understanding on how to create a short format video strategy that scales along with techniques to shoot and edit videos for various platforms. Learning outcomes include:
- Develop a short format video strategy that scales
- Understand the different video formats for Reels, Stories, Feeds, YouTube and Shorts
- Know how to shoot good videos with a smartphone
- Know what video editing programs and apps are best to get started
- Be able to create Instagram Reels with music, captions, and special effects
- Be able to repurpose your content on various platforms seamlessly
This session is a mix of teaching and exercises so participants can work on their strategy and practice shooting and editing videos. Students are required to bring both a laptop and a smartphone, access to social media accounts and Apple Store of Google Play passwords.
Best for: EVERYONE interested in getting started or improving videos, Going Live and creating a scalable short format video strategy. Basic knowledge of Instagram recommended.

Catherine Aird
Known for her love of the mountains, geeking out and seeking results!
Catherine is a social media coach & marketer based Whistler, British Columbia. Using private coaching and webinars, she helps business owners and real estate agents build simple and efficient social media strategies to help showcase products & services while creating meaningful relationships with their audience.
Originally from Montréal, she has been working in sales and marketing for the past 25 years. She has taken businesses from zero to over 25,000 followers, mostly organically, and has had the privilege to work on an ongoing basis with the Meta Advertising team for the last 15 years.
In 2015, she teamed up Heather at Keep It Simple Social Media to build workshops and webinars taught to over 5,000 REALTORS© and business owners to date.
