Line Cook

We are seeking a full-time Line Cook to support daily kitchen operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items during service while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and consistency in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Main Duties
- Prepare, season, and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Cook menu items during service, including appetizers, mains, and side dishes
- Maintain food quality and portion control
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health regulations
- Clean and maintain workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas
- Assist with food preparation, portioning, and proper food storage
- Work as part of a team to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience as a cook or line cook in a commercial kitchen
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of basic cooking methods and kitchen equipment
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Education
- Secondary school diploma preferred
- Culinary training is an asset but not required
