Ski & Snowboard Repair Technician

Job Description:

Spicy Sports is looking for four Ski & Snowboard Repair Technicians to assist our upcoming 2025-26 Winter season. We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing technical services such as ski and snowboard tuning, waxing, binding adjustments, and equipment repairs.

Duration: November 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026 (Full-Time)

Job Type: Full Time

Hourly Rate: $20.00 + (Based on Experience)

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Interest in winter sports (a must)

  • Positive attitude

  • Willingness to learn

  • Proactive and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrates initiative and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to communicate in English

  • Experience in ski and snowboard tuning (a must)

  • High school graduation is required.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Operate tuning machines and tools to sharpen edges, perform base waxing, complete tune-ups, and conduct maintenance and repairs on skis and snowboards

  • Adjust and mount ski bindings based on industry safety standards.

  • Accurately review and update work orders, noting service details, customer concerns, and any specific instructions or issues encountered.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by performing regular light housekeeping duties throughout the day.

  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Google Workspace) and scheduling systems

  • Maintain inventory control and operate a computerized inventory system

  • Other duties as assigned by the Tuning Shop Manager
