Whistler Premier is now hiring for a skilled Maintenance Technician for our growing team!

Under the direction of the Maintenance Managers and Director of Operations, the general maintenance technician is responsible for installation, maintenance and repair work throughout the Whistler Premier Resort as required for the various properties we represent. Residential building maintenance experience required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform hands-on maintenance-related duties including but not limited to general repairs, electrical maintenance, painting, patching walls, security hardware, hanging shelves and landscaping

· Complete maintenance jobs in accordance with the highest standards of quality and efficiency, while actively billing for projects and hourly repairs and maintenance

· Work with outside contractors for in-suite and property jobs

· Coordinate maintenance projects as required

· Evaluate problematic systems or facilities and determine what installation or repair services need to be performed

· Ensure prompt repairs by responding to emergency situations, and reassigning work priorities as required

· Manage and improve maintenance processes as required

· Maintain maintenance costs and revise as required

· Ensure productivity, and quality of work standards are maintained throughout work

REQUIREMENTS:

· Valid BC Driver’s license (a MUST as we drive to various properties)

· Strong communication skills to interact with different groups of people effectively

· Possess high level of safety awareness

· Previous experience in a maintenance roll

· Able to efficiently self-manage workload

· Clear communication in English, both written and verbal
