Description
Strategies for more effective actions
The average adult makes 35,000 decisions a day. We’re conditioned to think we are rational beings, but often, cognitive biases can creep in, effecting our judgement without our even knowing it. Cognitive biases are the little tricks and short-cuts our brain produces. If unrecognized, they can act as obstacles, holding us back from making the right decisions. We all have these biases, but if we can recognize them, we can learn to remove these barriers, so our decisions don’t short-change our best intentions.
Consumer behavior expert, Claire Booth will open our eyes to what these cognitive biases are and the effect they have on our needs. Her examples and exercises will empower you to manage your perception of reality to look at problems in different ways and make better decisions so you can create change in your personal and professional lives and climb to great heights.
Key takeaways
• Learn to tune into your cognitive biases
• Look at problems in a different way – and apply this to any aspect of life
• Overcome obstacles by removing biases
