As we close out 2020, the impacts of the pandemic, health orders and government programs continue to shift how we live and operate our businesses. The economic recovery for Whistler will require us to adapt to the new traveller, the new expectations and remain resilient on the slow recovery path expected in tourism.

Join the Whistler Chamber for (virtual) presentations from powerhouse panelists Jill Earthy, Bryan Yu and Danielle Kristmanson. Our guest speakers will provide insight into the economic outlook for BC, Canada and globally and how it impacts tourism; the shifts in tourism and the traveller as a result of the pandemic which will impact tourism both temporarily and permanently; and some key considerations for small business in its planning cycle to remain resilient.

Following the presentations, you will have the opportunity to ask questions to these experts in the Q&A feature in Zoom.

Annual General Meeting

The AGM will be from 11-11:30 AM. This portion is only open to Members.

The formal business of the Annual General Meeting will include the report of the Board, consideration of the financial statements, appointment of the accountant and confirmation of the 2021 Board of Directors. Following the official business of the AGM, the CEO will report on highlights to expect from the Whistler Chamber in the next year.
