Description
Presented by Whistler Public Library
A discussion with four Whistler Chamber Members about co-authoring a book celebrating women leaders.
Pursuit: 365 is an exciting new project celebrating 365 Canadian women in pursuit of happiness, success, and fulfillment – every day of the year. Join us for a conversation with local Pursuit:365 contributors Theresa Lambert, Heather Odendaal, Blair Kaplan, and Jane Stoller, moderated by Jeanette Bruce from Whistler Public Library. The panelists will share how they got involved with this project, and what the pursuit of happiness, success, and fulfillment looks like for them through the lens of women in leadership. This dialogue will be followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
This is a webinar style event, so attendees cameras will be off, and microphones muted. There will be an opportunity to ask questions using the Q&A feature in Zoom.
Moderator:

Jeanette Bruce (she/her) is a Newfoundland transplant who has been working as the Program & Marketing Coordinator at Whistler Public Library since 2015. You can also find her reviewing books on the Armchair Books Facebook page, waving her arms in front of Barbed Choir or the Whistler Children's Chorus, and knitting or reading (not simultaneously) in public spaces whenever possible.
Speakers:

As a pioneer in the industry, she brings more than a decade of experience to her clients, which include global wellness, entertainment and lifestyle brands. Theresa Lambert is the Bestselling Author of Achieve with Grace: A guide to elegance and effectiveness in intense workplaces, a speaker and high-performance lifestyle and success coach. She founded her coaching and consulting firm, Theresa Lambert Coaching & Consulting Inc. to guide high-achieving women to succeed with more elegance + less struggle so they can create the lifestyle and business they desire. Heather Odendaal is an accomplished entrepreneur, brand builder and event producer whose decades of experience in corporate environments inspired her to create WNORTH, a global organization of women who support each other’s rise to corporate leadership.
While working for a Fortune 500 company, Heather noticed there were few women in senior executive positions. Fuelled to initiate change in 2014 she started the WNORTH Conference for women in business.
Six years later, WNORTH strives to identify and overcome systemic barriers that prevent more women from reaching high-level positions.
She is a Co-Chair for the Nicola Goddard Fund at True Patriot Love Foundation, an organization supporting female veterans, and was recently appointed to the Board of the Whistler Chamber of Commerce. When Heather isn’t bridging the corporate gender gap, she spends her time at home in Whistler, Canada with her husband – WNORTH’s co-founder – and their two children.
