Guest Speaker: Vivien Corwin

Vivien has built a career that combines her passion for innovation and collaboration with her love of teaching. Spending the early part of her career working in industry led her to the realization that organizations are highly complex and often messy, and that to work successfully with and within them, people need not only solid expertise, but also the ability to share their expertise collaboratively, and the willingness to experiment with ways to execute quickly on ideas to drive results.
Vivien delivers strategic consulting and facilitation to a range of corporate clients, including Telus, BC Ferries, the Tribal Resources Investment Corporation (TRICORP), the BC Government, and ATCO Group. In particular she facilitates topics such as Employee Engagement, Service Excellence, Innovation and Creativity, Collaboration, and Leading Change.
Vivien holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Toronto and a PhD in Organizational Behaviour from the University of British Columbia. Today she is an Assistant Teaching Professor at UVic’s Gustavson School of Business.
