How did Shea Emry go from being one of the fiercest and nastiest players in Canadian football to the founder of three successful businesses that are on a mission to enhance emotional wellbeing? A concussion sidelined Emry in 2012 and led to a battle with depression, negative self-image and a lifetime of upholding standards of masculinity in professional sport. Football League (CFL). As a two-time Grey Cup champion, 2012 Defensive Player of the Year
Runner-Up, 2012 Canadian Player of the Year Runner-Up, and All-Star linebacker. Shea Emry has shared his story and self-care practices with thousands of aspiring athletes, as well as professionals pioneering solutions to health challenges. His mission has led him to many collaborations and ignition platforms such as Bell’s Let’s Talk Campaign, The David Suzuki Foundation, and the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation. Shea’s purpose is to challenge hyper-masculine stereotypes wielding an axe and in tree pose, meanwhile inspiring confidence and power.

being a ‘real man’ is about being a balanced man; no tear, grunt, or hard work left out. Wellmen
‘re-wilds’ men by teaching them modern day survival skills throughout their endorphin inducing
