There are billions of dollars in grants issued by the Canadian government every year. The sad reality is that no one teaches you how to access the "pot of gold". It is important that Indigenous owned and/or those who serve Indigenous communities understand what programs are available and be corrected on misconceptions about government grants. 
 
This online workshop outlines best practices when preparing for upcoming funding programs and how to develop an effective grant strategy for a business. It also includes in-class activities where we review a grant together to give you the practical experience of researching, identifying, and assessing the right programs for a business. Case studies of how other businesses and organizations have leveraged grants for growth.

Special guest Court Larabee will chat about his experience in applying for different grants geared to support the Indigenous communities as well as the verbiage used that helps to heighten an application from good to great!

Stephanie is CEO of Granted Consulting, and is known as a ‘Grant Angel’ in Western Canada. She is passionate about working with entrepreneurs in all industries on developing grant strategies for growth.

Since 2011, Granted has supported 800+ clients and generated nearly $35 MM in grant funding at a success rate of 92%. Over the last few years, Stephanie has been invited to speak at events hosted by the both provincial and national venues to educate entrepreneurs about grants in Canada.
