DESCRIPTION:Whistler Pride and Ski Festival is projecting record-breaking attendance for the 30th anniversary celebration\, running January 22-29\, 2023. We are excited to join forces with the festival\, Tourism Whistler and QMUNITY to host a special information session perfect for business owners\, managers\, front-line staff and anyone else who wants to be part of designing a welcoming experience for 2SLGBTQIA+ guests.\n\nSince 1979\, QMUNITY has existed as BC's queer\, trans\, and Two-Spirit resource centre. Learn about 2SLGBTQIA+ terminology\, as well as an overview on how we understand and talk about gender and sexuality as a society.\n\n\n\nFrom this session\, you can expect to gain insight into how you can contribute to creating safer\, more inclusive spaces in your workplace\, and your everyday life.
